logion 98

The Father’s realm is like a man
wanting to kill someone powerful
So he draws his sword in his own house
and puts it through the wall
to test whether or not his hand
is actually strong enough.

Then he goes out
and slays the giant.

**

God, give me wisdom
Teach me where to insert the blade
Spiritual hitman

Help me chop at the knees
the barbarian me
all ripped from decades of juicin’
EGH — ego growth hormone
Fear and distraction

Take me down with one swing
or however many it takes

Make us Davids
and we’ll topple this Goliath
Then we’ll all dance naked before you
Unashamed
Eyes that remember your garden’s goodness
Eyes that see we’ve never left

Thank you, Soul Lover
Thank you, Dirt, Sun and Rain

The Father’s realm can be compared
to a woman who takes a tiny bit of yeast,
folds it into dough and makes
great loaves of bread out of it.

Whoever has ears for this, listen!

**

Come, Grandmothers
Come, Grandfathers
Bundles of magic and hoops of willow
Yeast in a small pouch
Herbs
Water + Fire

Fold into me
Desire for secret knowledge
Knead me
Work me and
Let me rest

I don’t want to eat
these systems’ garbage anymore
I only want sunlight and water
I want to be the bread

Creator, Tunkashila Christ and Holy Mother
May it be so

Seek now, I say, and you will find
that for which you search.
You see, I am ready to tell you
everything you were asking earlier
and did not explain,
but at the moment
no one is searching out anything.

I’ve knocked on so many doors
Most didn’t open
So I either moved on
or knocked ’til my knuckles
split and bled

Some doors opened
but just as I was stepping in
they were slammed in my face
BAM!!

Thank you, locked doors
Thank you, bruised knuckles
Thank you, rejection

For turning me inward
For confirming what I knew and forgot
and am remembering

Divine Love lives
and is made known
within

Heart,
I’m knocking
Open to me

They said to him,
“Tell us who you really are
so we may believe in you.”

He said to them,
“You have learned to
read the face of earth and sky,
but you do not recognize
the one standing in your presence,
nor can you make sense of
the present moment.

**

Come to me
Bring me your fear
and all the tools you carry
to perform
all your measuring

Set them down
Here
Let me hold you
Let me set you free

Miserable is the body that depends on a body,
and the soul that depends on both.

**

When I bow
What grace
My tiny flame
of your flame
bending in Wisdom’s wind
The action reverberating
through popping joints
and a sore back
When I bow
Misery lifts

When I fast
What grace
My hungry soul
remembers
Only Spirit satisfies
Clear mind
Open eyes
When I fast
True desire

When I dance
What grace
Body makes love
to soul
Spirit is born
in the twirling
arms casting rainbows
legs rooted and bent
When I dance
I am free

Practice me
to my Self

Take me home
