Seek now, I say, and you will find
that for which you search.
You see, I am ready to tell you
everything you were asking earlier
and did not explain,
but at the moment
no one is searching out anything.

I’ve knocked on so many doors
Most didn’t open
So I either moved on
or knocked ’til my knuckles
split and bled

Some doors opened
but just as I was stepping in
they were slammed in my face
BAM!!

Thank you, locked doors
Thank you, bruised knuckles
Thank you, rejection

For turning me inward
For confirming what I knew and forgot
and am remembering

Divine Love lives
and is made known
within
